About Me

Three Sisters Cupcake Company was created in 2008 and named for my three daughters at the time, Alexandra, Sophia & Ava. Isabella, born in 2009, is my new constant companion in the kitchen and first witness to every cupcake out of the oven. I only use home made batters and icing. My menu is an example of my favorite creations, but I also take custom orders. Thank you for visiting my blog; here is where I will keep you updated on new flavors and events.

A sweet ending

This past weekend I set up a booth at our local soccer league's biggest tournament. I baked and iced over 1400 mini cupcakes. I would like to thank everyone who came by and bought them. I have some pretty amazing supporters who I love to make happy. In addition, I am thankful for all the new people I met, those who gave me a million compliments, those who came back a few times and those who placed an order. It was a very successful event and I had a blast from when I started measuring the flour to when I folded up the table once it was all over.

But the best part might be this:

We sold over 700. I was thrilled. This left almost 700 to pack up and take home. Instead we took them to my church's soup kitchen. To say that the women who run the kitchen and those who were being fed that night were excited is an understatement. To say that I was overwhelmed by their happiness and gratefulness is a bigger understatement. This made a really good day, absolutely amazing.
